Hello, and welcome! I’m so happy you are here!

 My name is Rachel and I am the owner here at Simply Timber. I grew up in the country of a small town and spent much of my time out of doors. I loved to help out with whatever project my parents were working on. Ever since I can remember I’ve been making things, whether it was a bunk bed for my dolls, a gymnastic beam for my cousin and I, or helping my dad build a chicken coop. I think it’s pretty safe to say that I’ve always enjoyed working with my hands and seeing what I can create!
In more recent years I began to make gifts for my family and friends. It wasn’t long after that my sister started encouraging me to sell some of the things I was making, which is what I did. Being 16 years old and still in high school I started off by just selling locally to the people I knew.
Fast forward a couple of years, I graduated high school this past year and have really honed in on exactly what I love to make, wooden signs. I cut, sand, stain, paint, and assemble every sign by hand in my home and shed. For now I’m making signs on the side, but would love to do it full time if I had the chance.
I’m excited for the future of Simply Timber and to see what the Lord has in store for my little dream. Thanks so much for your support and for following along on this journey!  -Rachel
